首先，我們要明白倒裝句的概念。一般而言，英語(yǔ)里的陳述句表達(dá)都是“主+謂+其他”的結(jié)構(gòu)，也就是說(shuō)如果按正常語(yǔ)序，我們都是先說(shuō)主語(yǔ)再說(shuō)謂語(yǔ)的，但也有特殊情況，在某些情況下我們把句子的結(jié)構(gòu)會(huì)調(diào)換順序，而倒裝就是其中的一種。那么什么是倒裝句呢?倒裝就是把謂語(yǔ)的全部或者部分放在主語(yǔ)之前的現(xiàn)象，把謂語(yǔ)全部放在主語(yǔ)之前的叫全部倒裝，把謂語(yǔ)的部分放在主語(yǔ)之前(即助動(dòng)詞提前)的就叫部分倒裝。我們要明白什么情況下用部分倒裝，什么情況必須全部倒裝，這樣才能在考試中做到游刃有余。

全部倒裝的情況有以下三種：

(1)以here, there, up, down, in, off, away, then 等副詞開(kāi)頭的句子，要進(jìn)行全部倒裝，但主語(yǔ)不能是代詞。(提供記憶口訣：這里、那里、上上、下下，這時(shí)、那時(shí)、里里、外外)

如：Here comes the bus!

In came the teacher, but out he went again. (前半句是副詞in開(kāi)頭，因此全部倒裝，而后半句作主語(yǔ)的是人稱代詞he，所以不全部倒裝。)

(2)表示地點(diǎn)的介詞短語(yǔ)作狀語(yǔ)放句首時(shí)，全部倒裝。

如：Under the tree stands a beautiful girl.

(3)強(qiáng)調(diào)表語(yǔ)，放句首時(shí)，為了保持句子的平衡，全部倒裝。

如：Present at the meeting were 1000 students.

部分倒裝的情況比較多，為了記憶方便，我總結(jié)了以下最常考的三點(diǎn)：

(1)前倒后不倒：

① never, hardly(…when…), scarcely, seldom, little, not, no sooner...than…, nor…等含有否定意義或否定形式的副詞放句首時(shí)，要前倒后不倒;

如： Hardly had I picked up the phone when I was told that the hotel had been booked full.

② not only…but also…連接并列的句子放句首時(shí)要前倒后不倒;

如：Not only does he know French, but also he is expert at it.

③ So… that …, such… that …中So或者such及修飾的成分放句首時(shí)，前倒后不倒。

如：So busy is he that he cannot go on a holiday.

(2)前不倒后倒：

Only +狀語(yǔ)/in this way 放句首;not until+時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)放于句首時(shí)，前不倒后倒;

如：Only after he has finished his homework is he allowed to go to the party.

Not until he came back from the troop did he meet his fiancée.

(3)前后都倒： neither… nor…連接并列的句子放句首時(shí)，前后都倒裝。

如：Neither do I know it, nor do I care about it.
